As a writer, Carolynn has navigated the worlds of both fiction and film. She has built an extensive short story collection that is often shared at public and private reading events. She currently holds the honor of Writer In Residence with The Mic, a performing arts community that presents monthly performances at The Bitter End in NYC.
She began her professional screen writing career after being hired by David Bowie in 2015 to create and pen an experimental music film for his album Blackstar. The film premiered at SXSW and was featured on RollingStone.com, USA Today, Entertainment Weekly and more.
She has since written music concepts for other well-known artists, commercial brands, audio content podcasts and her own narrative projects.
