Carolynn entered the world of filmmaking when she commandeered the family camcorder at 9 years old and began adapting John Grisham novels for the small screen, casting her siblings as actors.
As an adult she has been drawn to projects that allow her to curate a cinematic point of view combining her love of music and literature, particularly in relation to her Southern roots. Be it her 2015 hiring by David Bowie to curate the award winning visual album series UNBOUND (writer, creative director) to her films Woodford County and Van Cortlandt (writer, director), Carolynn continues to look for projects that highlight the human condition through evocative storytelling.
